Welcome to Videonomicon - the web store! You may be familiar with our physical location, a micro video store located in the heart of Beaumont Records in Saskatoon, but here we are able to reach out globally to those who want a taste of the glory days when picking out your weeknight or weekend entertainment meant getting out of the house and perusing the shelves of (sometimes dusty) video sleeves that advertised entertainment - no matter the budget the cover art lied about. While there are no rentals in the web store, we do hope you'll be satisfied with our selection of licensed releases to provide classic or soon-to-be-classic films, some lost and found, to a new and appreciative audience. We'll also have other merchandise soon available, such as T-shirts and posters and whatnot.
For now, we present you with our very first limited-edtion VHS releases, the never-before-released RYAN'S BABE (2000) and the comedy-horror-cult insanity that is Mike Cartel's RUNAWAY NIGHTMARE (1982), available in his Director's Cut, making it's home video debut! These are going on sale Tuesday August 12th, 2014 at 11:00 AM CST.
